Coins for Caring

Many generous children in the Tulare area show support to the Lighthouse by participating in a coin collecting drive called “Coins for Caring”. Those who participate realize they are actually helping their neighbors. Last school year sixteen schools participated and raised over $9,000.00. Since November of this school year the Tulare boys and girls have brought in over $1,600.00 with only three schools ending their drive; Cherry , Mulcahy and Heritage. The smiling faces show how proud they are.  In fact, some children even bring in shoes, clothes and toys in addition to their money donation. Thanks to all the supporting schools.
